This is your window. If you read the patch notes and adjust immediately, you're playing the new meta while everyone else is playing the old one. That's a competitive advantage worth 5-10% win rate.
Here's what to look for in every patch:
1. Buffed champions — especially ones that were already decent. A small buff to a B-tier champion usually doesn't matter. A small buff to an A-tier champion can push them to S tier.
2. Nerfed items — if an item that's core on a popular champion gets nerfed, that champion's win rate will drop. Stop playing them. Start playing the champions that counter them.
3. System changes — jungle camp gold, tower plating, objective timers. These affect everyone equally, but the players who adapt their playstyle fastest win more.
