Enemy Team Too Tanky? Here Is How to Shred Any Frontline

By HOKMeta · Published 2026-01-15 · Updated 2026-08-07

Anti-tank carries — who actually shreds

Meng Ya — 54.2% WR, 0.5% pick, Tier B; Garo — 53.8% WR, 1.4% pick, Tier S; Luara — 53.1% WR, 1.4% pick, Tier S; Alessio — 52.0% WR, 1.0% pick, Tier A; Flowborn (Marksman) — 51.7% WR, 1.0% pick, Tier A. Mages with sustained DPS and poke: Menki — 53.8% WR, 0.2% pick, Tier B; Nuwa — 53.3% WR, 1.1% pick, Tier S; Angela — 51.8% WR, 2.5% pick, Tier S+; Zhou Yu — 51.7% WR, 0.5% pick, Tier B. These are not just high-damage picks — they have the range and self-peel to survive long enough to kill a tank line.

Tank weaknesses — what the data says

Lapulapu → answered by Wukong, Musashi, Ying. Dun → answered by Han Xin, Li Bai, Wukong. Ata → answered by Jing, Wukong, Musashi. Lian Po → answered by Jing, Li Bai, Ukyo Tachibana

The macro answer — do not fight their game

Do not teamfight into Dun or Lapulapu ultimate timings — take the opposite-side objective instead. If they group as five with two tanks, split the map and force them to answer multiple lanes. CN frontline comps often layer two tanks with a bruiser; on global, the more common setup is one tank plus a roam support. Focus on kiting the engage tank and ignore the roam until your carry is safe. If you blow cooldowns on the support while the tank walks onto your backline, you already lost the fight.

Stats from Camp HOK international ranked (synced 2026-08-07), cross-checked against HoKStats.gg builds and counters. 国服 (王者荣耀) runs on a faster patch cycle with a larger hero pool and different ban culture — use CN guides for mechanics and combos, but draft off global win/pick/ban numbers on this site.
